The Rotary Club of Rockland Awards $1,000 in Benefaction Grants to each of the following area non-profit organizations who were guests at our club on June 25th, July 2nd, July 9th and July 16th.
- Alan Kearl (Executive Director at AIO and Emergency Assistant Program) for children’s weekend and after school nutrition program.
- Jen Feldman (Executive Director) & Dan Wenger (Music Therapist) of Mid-coast Music Academy for music programs for special needs children.
- Stephanie Welch (Executive Director) for core expeditions at Trekkers.
- Kienan Brown (Program Director) & Lynn Kapinsky (Founder & Board Chair) of the Sundog Outdoor Leadership Initiative for children’s outdoor education.
- Brittany Parker (Education Director & Program Dept. Head) for the Sunshine Series musical and theatrical programs at the Strand Theatre.
- Meredith Batley (Executive Director Knox County Health Clinic) for children’s medical supplies and expansion services at the Knox County Health Clinic to better service our community’s medical needs.
