The Rotary Club of Rockland Awards a total of $11,000 in Benefaction Grants to the following non-profit organizations in our area:
- Mid-coast Music Academy for music programs for special needs children.
- Trekkers for Oceanside High School partnership
- Sundog Outdoor Leadership Initiative for operating support for children’s outdoor education.
- Strand Theatre for Sunshine series for children
- Knox County Health Clinic for dental care expansion in Knox County
- Area Interfaith Outreach (AIO) for summer weekend meals
- Homeworthy for social services barrier removal
- Making Community Happen (MCH) for Meals on Wheels
- Merryspring Nature Center for environmental education outreach
- Pen Bay YMCA for Hands-on “Mattering” crafts for all ages.
- Rockland Emergency Warming Center
