
Patrick Long, one of Rockland Rotary's new members, gave his Classification Talk at Rotary's weekly club meeting. Patrick is a descendent of "Gaelic" Ireland and the oldest of 7 siblings. He and his wife, Maureen, have been married for 40-years and have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. He started his working career as a newspaper delivery boy delivering papers at 5:30am and collecting money at night. He was Chief Engineer in the hotel industry before retiring. Patrick has been an advid traveler both internationally and domestically. Traveling in his motor home, Patrick has visited 50 states and half of the 63 National Parks. He decided to settle in Maine to enjoy the seasonal changes and coastline.
